How can I tell which cartridge is out of ink on my HP PSC 750 printer?

It says it's almost out of ink, but none of the things we've tried to do to find out which is out work. Help? How can I tell which cartridge is out of ink on my HP PSC 750 printer?
You should be able to do an ink level check. Should be able to find that in printer maintenance. That will tell you what the inks levels are for each cartridge as long as they are HP cartridges. How can I tell which cartridge is out of ink on my HP PSC 750 printer?
The HP printers give out this message long before the cartridge actually runs out of ink. Just keep printing until you see streaks or faded printing, then get the cartridge refilled or buy a new one. If you plan to get it refilled, put it in a small plastic bag with a 1'; square piece of wet paper towel. This helps stop the nozzles from drying out on the way to the refill station.
print something in black and white, if it duznt work bingo, and same with color....
Normally if you have black and color cartridge you will have to check on the my computer, contral panel, then printer and then right click there should be an option to showing ink levels.

Normally black ink is the one which runs out first before the color one.
you have to print them out separately
our printer when it's low they show on the monitor screen your ink level , one for color and the other for black and white, then if the color printing is real faded , and the black printing is almost grey....then you'll know if it needs to be replace
